Widget Tag
++PARENTSLUG++
What It Does
The ++PARENTSLUG++ widget displays the slug name of the section or subsection in which the current page is located. If used in a subsection index page, the widget inserts the slug name of the main section to which the subsection belongs. If used in an article page, the widget inserts the slug name of the section or subsection to which the article belongs. The ++PARENTSLUG++ widget is closely related to ++MAINPARENTSLUG++. In fact, for subsection pages, the ++PARENTSLUG++ and ++MAINPARENTSLUG++ widgets generate identical results.
This widget may be useful, for example, when integrating third-party scripts and applications into your templates. ++ARTICLESLUG++, ++MAINPARENTSLUG++ and ++SECTIONSLUG++ are similar "slug widgets."
